I think a child would like to reread this story because the topic is interesting for them, it’s significant (if they do not have a cat they might have a dog or a relative having one of this pets), it’s got repetitions and a surprising ending. With every rereading they can be more and more active because they can predict what is going to happen activating their memory. Moreover, I think they would like to reread it to enjoy the ilustrations and find new things every time they watch them.
