Activity 3. Some rules for writing for children

Completion requirements





Read the following rules for writing for children.  Choose the three most relevant ones in your opinion. Justify your answer and record it.

  • They are young but as demanding as adult
  • Be careful with the point of view
  • Make them participate in the story
  • Explaining, not reading. Put yourself in their shoes
  • Do not pretend to seduce the adults, this is a story for children
  • Be careful with fantasy, a child is a child
  • The names of the protagonists? Simple and straight
  • Characters should be one-dimensional
